Last week Visser & Smit Hanab received a Certificate of Appreciation from the State Oil Company of Suriname for our contribution to 2,000,000 safe man-hours without lost time injuries.

Due to the expansion of a refinery of the State Oil Company, a pipeline has to be build with the HDD technique. 

Since November 2013 Visser & Smit Hanab is in Suriname to prepare the required pipe lengths. In April the 250-ton rig  withdraws the strings in a bundle.
