Visser & Smit Hanab wins 2014 ISTT No-Dig Award!
Yesterday it was announced that Visser & Smit Hanab has won the prestigious ISTT No-Dig Award 2014.
ISTT, the International Society for Trenchless Technology, is an international organization established to promote and advance theoretical and practical education, training, study and research in the field of trenchless technologies.
The No-Dig Award is given out annually to a business, contractor, supplier or researcher that has fostered the worldwide development and/or use of trenchless technology in a noteworthy manner through innovative techniques or applications. Visser & Smit Hanab entered its arc drilling method, which is being used in the Beverwijk-Wijngaarden project for designing and building a waterway junction by means of HDD with pre-bent pipes.
