VolkerTrenchless champions local collaboration at Sizewell C’s meet the Tier 1s event
We recently supported the Meet the Tier 1s event hosted by the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce and Sizewell C.
This event brought Sizewell C’s major suppliers together under one roof to meet with Suffolk and regional businesses and to talk about subcontracting opportunities.
Throughout the day our team met with a wide range of specialist suppliers, leading both scheduled and impromptu discussions. Their conversations helped highlight the breadth of capability on the project’s doorstep, from civils to site delivery and beyond. They also identified several partners that we look forward to exploring future collaboration with as Sizewell C progresses.
The event’s importance was underlined by the attendance of local MPs, key project stakeholders and Sizewell C’s Chief Executive, Nigel Cann, reinforcing the shared commitment to ensuring local companies play a central role in this £4.4bn+ programme.
With more than a thousand attendees from across the supplier community, the exhibition was a fantastic opportunity to deepen relationships, share upcoming opportunities and demonstrate our continued support as a contractor within the Sizewell C supply chain.
