HDDW applications

In the construction process of a HDDW, HDD techniques are used to place a filter tube in an aquifer. Depending on the desired application, water is removed from or infiltrated into the ground. You can use a HDDW for:

  • Extracting drinking water
  • Groundwater management
  • Infiltrating rainwater
  • Decontamination
  • Heat and cold storage
  • Desalination
